The Krembil Foundation was established in 2002 with a mandate centered on helping people through medical research, education and social services.  This mandate reflected the primary interests of the family and it still holds true today. 

Our primary focus is funding world-class medical research.  We are interested in new and exciting research projects in medicine; particularly those that have difficulty obtaining funding yet have the potential to produce life-altering results.

We are dedicated to the development of children through education.  Children are a precious resource and it is their ability to learn and grow in a healthy environment that will help build our future.

We have funded several social programs including addiction counseling/rehabilitation, financial advocacy and planning, mental health issues and social awareness.  The social programs we support help individuals become successful, self-sustaining, contributing citizens in the community.
